What’s this all about

Environment To Inspire Network Users (ETINU) started as a concept to complement and facilitate, from a networked server perspective, the User Network Interface To Everything (UNITE)—an historic specification of the ideal user network interface.

These ideas were widely discussed, and contributed to, in the early 1990s at the start of the world wide web "revolution". We have been central to their evolution, through IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) and European working groups, higher education course work, and commercial application through our small companies.

We developed the current web site management solution following the creation of Platypus Consultancy Limited in 2004. Today the only further development undertaken is to satisfy requested enhancements by the established ETINU customer base.
